Peggy W. Baxter LEXINGTON Service for Peggy W. Baxter,83, will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs UMC cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family. Peggy passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, after a courageous battle with illness. Born in Macon, GA, she was a daughter of the late, Joe D. and Louise A. Waller. She had retired from Southern Bell and Low Country Billing. She was often called a Spitfire. A thanks to all family and friends who gave her support and prayers throughout this journey with Peggy. Peggy was the foundation for all family and friends who looked for encouragement and support in any situation. There will be a tremendous void in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, James Reid, son, James D. Baxter (Barbara), daughters, Deborah B. Anderson, Cynthia B. Ricard (Allen), Margie R. Curl, Cynthia Reid and Tammy R. Sullivan, sister, Louise W. Owens, grandchildren, Jenny, Stephanie, Jason, Bryan, Blake, Jacob, Brandon, Christina, Terri Lynn, Curtis, Eric and Emily. and 11 great-grandchildren.
