November 5, 1968 - September 25, 2021
Lexington, South Carolina - Philip Mitchell Brown, 52, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 after a short illness. He was born on November 5, 1968 in Columbia, SC.
Philip attended Hopebridge at the Oaks and loved the staff and many friends he had there. He loved his music, singing, dancing and performing in front of an audience, which he did often at Hopebridge.
Philip is survived by his sister, Rhonda Brown Areheart (Ernie); his grandmother, Rosell McCrackin; nephew, Bo Areheart (Lorraine); niece, Erica Beaudrot; great niece, Joelle Areheart, who held a special place in his heart; and great nephew, Bryson Beaudrot. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne B. Phillips; and his special uncle, Thomas Wayne Parrott.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor ICU at Lexington Medical Center for their constant care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
