Duck, words can't express how much I truly miss you. I never thought the last time that I will be able to see was at Toya birthday party. You were the life of the party and I'm truly missing you. I appreciate the good time I was able to share with you, never a dull moment. Just know, that you lived an abundant life and accomplished all that you set forth and had planned. It's difficult to understand how a natural leader like "Duck" is gone. He was the first person I met at the boys and girls club. He was one of the most sincere people I have ever met. He will truly be missed. Praying for everyone he has touched with his smile.

To the Brown and Rhodes family, my heart aches as I send this message, but please know that God is your source and strength. Randall was such a great leader and a dynamic helper at the Westside Boys and Girls Club. He would come into the club, and change the entire atmosphere with his kindness and brilliant energy. He always made sure I had things in order, and assured me he would help out in any way possible. Randall, "Duck", you will be missed. Thank you for touching my life and making a difference in other's lives.

Trying to make sense of this is beyond what I can do on my own. "Duck" was the FIRST person I met (in the dreadful bookstore line) at Benedict College. He spoke primarily of his grandmother and how her words, actions, and beliefs resignated deeply within him. We remained good friends and managed to graduate together...To my understanding she has since gone to be with the Lord and now he has joined his precious "jewel" ...
"Duck" was kind, cool, and very much collected...I've cried as much as I can stand and I truly believe God's got this all under control.
