Reuben "Sib" Sylvester Haley SAVANNAH, GA - Reuben "Sib" Sylvester Haley, 85, passed away June 7, 2018, after a short illness. He was a retired business leader in the furniture industry, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love and dedication to his family was the focal point of his life. He was the slayer of dragons, teacher of all things, and the standard to which all men should strive to be. He was an Elder in Faith Lutheran Church, a member of Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church, a soldier in the US Army National Guard, and a Master Mason. Sib is survived by his wife Barbara Parnell Haley, his daughter DeAnne Davis and her husband Erick, his grandchildren Justin and Haley Davis, and his brothers Tracy Haley and his wife Carolyn, Steve Haley and his wife Thelma of Columbia SC; sisters Sylvia Kirkland of Camden SC; Gwen Catoe of Eastman GA; sister-in-law Patricia Bair, and his nieces and nephews. The world is a bit darker without his light. A graveside service will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in West Columbia, SC, on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O.
