I still can't believe she's gone !! I have such fond memories of Mrs. Baldwin, in school & out of school.
What a fine, Christian lady she was & there's NO doubt she's walking on the streets of gold with Jesus ~ I can't wait to see her again :)

Sherri,
Mother and Daddy read about your Mother in The State and let me know...I am so sorry about your loss. I will always remember the good times we had in Ridgeland as young children and the fun we had later at the Darlington Raceway! It was always so fun to go to your house because you had older, cute brothers and a wonderful Mama!
Mother and Daddy send their condolences also...take care...
Fondly,
Kae Inabinet Dawkins

My heart dropped when I heard the news. Mrs. Baldwin taught me in 4th, 5th and 6th grades at Thomas Heyward in the mid 80's and was one of my all time favorite teachers. I have so many wonderful memories of her class, including her famous ruler. She was tough but fair, and really a great teacher! She never forgot a face or name and was such an amazing lady! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Please know she made a life-long impact on so many young people and will be missed!

So sorry to hear about Mrs Baldwin. She taught me when I was in the 4th,5th and 6th grades at Thomas Heyward back in the mid-70's. She remembered my name even 30 years later when she saw me in Ridgeland. She was a remarkable woman.
