Simon A. Mikell Jr. FLORENCE - Simon A. Mikell, Jr., 70, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, July 20, 2014, in Carolinas Hospital System after an illness. He was born in Glennville, Georgia, a son of the late Juanita Brazell Mikell and Simon A. Mikell, Sr. Simon had retired as a Chief Financial Officer of Dixie Federal Credit Union in Darlington, SC. He was predeceased by his parents, and one sister, Ella Wallace. Simon is survived by two sisters, Liz Goldsmith of Manning, SC, and Janet Bratcher of Cayce, SC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 26, 2014, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Cain Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 181 E.
