Susan Elizabeth "Sue Beth" Grice

Susan Elizabeth Vaught Grice MARION - Susan Elizabeth "Sue Beth" Vaught Grice, 82, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Marion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Life Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service, at the cemetery. Mrs. Grice was born in Galivants Ferry, a daughter of the late Cantey Lanneau Vaught and Freddie Loretta Gryder Vaught. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Grice, Sr. Mrs. Grice was a graduate of Winthrop College. She was a schoolteacher for 40+ years before retirement. She was also a member of Marion Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Wesley Grice of Marion, Ricky Grice and his wife, Bonnie, of Galivants Ferry, Randy Grice and Marc Grice, both of Marion; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
