Thomas Hardin Obituary
September 11, 1938 - January 19, 2023
San Diego, California - Dr. Thomas L. Hardin has passed away at the age of 84.
He was the Principal of A.C. Flora High School from 1986 to 1992. He was very successful in that some 200 students enrolled in his first two years and in 1991 "The Charleston Post" named Flora "one of the Top Ten High Schools in South Carolina". In 1991, '92 and '93, the South Carolina Department of Education named Flora "High School Incentive Awards" for $63,000 and "Deregulation Status". Thanks to the hard work of Mrs. Sherry Beasley, teacher of Russian language, the State Department named Flora one of 35 high schools in America to be part of the historic exchange with Russian and American students and the only high school in the south.
He is survived by his wife Sally who lives in San Diego and his two children, Jessica and Christopher, who were Flora graduates, live in Los Angeles. You can visit his online memorial page at: https://www.inmemori.com/thardin-u69ct.

As the current principal of AC Flora, I send condolences on behalf of the Flora Falcon Family. I enjoyed email conversations over the last few years where Tom shared memories (and wise advice) of running AC Flora. No doubt, he made a positive impact on many lives. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
