I worked with Troy at the USGS. He was always pleasant, and would drop by my office now and then to chat. I liked him very much, and am so sorry to hear that he is gone. May God bless and comfort y'all. If I had known about his service in time, I would certainly have been there.

Troy was a wonderful person; always quick with a smile and a joke. I only wish I had had more time to get to know him better. My heart goes out to you and your family. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

I feel fortunate that I was able to share some great times with Troy. I always looked forward to anytime we spent together because he was clever and always ready with a sarcastic remark. Thank you for sharing some of your short time here with me. Troy, you had a smile that could not help but spread to anyone in your presences.
Kendal, thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with me and my family. We are all blessed to have known him.
Love you!

Troy was a wonderful person. Even though we fought constantly, I still consider him my dad. I love him more than he'll ever know, and I wish I could have told him. I miss him more and more every day. I know I have a guardian looking over me now, and I know I'll always be safe. I love you, Troy.
