William Lawrence "WL" Eaddy

William Lawrence "WL" Eaddy COLUMBIA - William, known as "WL" to family and friends, was born June 26, 1943, in Columbia, SC, to the late Willie and Mary Frierson Eaddy. He passed away at his home on September 13, 2016. He was 73. WL was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He worked at Allied Chemical Company in Columbia, retiring after many years of dedicated service. He is survived by: his fiancee, Joan Anderson; his son, Byron Eaddy; his granddaughter, Bianca Eaddy, and a great-granddaughter; his brother, Donald Eaddy; two nieces, Maxine and Sheradon Eaddy; and other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. His homegoing service will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with burial in New Light Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Hopkins.
