Zachary Godfrey Obituary
August 19, 1988 - September 8, 2021
Gilbert, South Carolina - Zachary Forth Godfrey passed away on September 8, 2021. He was a graduate of Swansea High School and was employed by Hood Construction Company for many years. He loved his Clemson Tigers and the Atlanta Braves. Zachary was a loving son, father, and friend to anyone he knew. Once you knew Zachary, he was your friend for life.
Zachary is survived by his daughters, Kensley Lane Godfrey and Adailyn Reece Godfrey; wife, Brittney Godfrey; parents, John A. and Pamela C. Godfrey of Gaston; brothers, Johnathan D. Godfrey, Austin Godfrey (Brittney), William Godfrey; nephew, PVT Malin A. Russel; nieces, Courtney, Kaydance, Addison, Tenley, and Ali Godfrey.
His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."
Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Gaston, 121 Oakley Springs Drive, Gaston, SC 29053. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. A graveside service will follow at the church cemetery.
