Hans Sanborn Warnick, 86, of Norfolk, passed peacefully on November 15, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Anne (Smith) Warnick, his high school sweetheart with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Boston on December 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Hans and Marion (Sanborn) Warnick. Hans was educated in Westwood High School. He worked as a forklift mechanic for Bird & Son for 43 years prior to retirement. He was an avid antique car enthusiast. He was happiest spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, Hans is survived by their children; Hans Warnick, Jr. of Millis, Karen Crosby of North Attleboro, Karl Warnick of Norfolk, Eric Warnick of Wrentham, and Kristine Mahoney of Brentwood, NH. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Hans was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Treen of Norfolk.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, November 18th from 4-7 PM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 19th at 10:30 AM in Norfolk Cemetery.
