Jeanne Vivian (Laforest) Twedt, of Attleboro Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of Donald M. Twedt of Attleboro Falls for 64 years. Daughter of the late Florence (Benoit) and Leon Laforest. Loving mother of David Twedt and wife Jacqueline of Colchester, CT and the late Karla (Twedt) Szkutak. Cherished grandmother of Rachel Twedt of Niantic, CT; Stephanie Twedt of Columbia, SC; Emma Szkutak of Medford, MA; and Rebecca Szkutak of Brooklyn, NY. Adored sister of Lucille (Laforest) Thomas and her husband David of Pawtucket, RI and the late Annette (Laforest) McCusker. Mother-in-law of Edward Szkutak and his wife Deborah of Boston, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews." not predeceased by many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was born in Pawtucket, RI where she graduated from Pawtucket East High School. She moved to Attleboro in 1960 and settled in Attleboro Falls in 1985 to present.

She was employed at AMICA Insurance as a stenographer until 1959 and then became a housewife.

Jeanne was a member of the Harmonettes Barbershop Chorus and of St. John the Evangelist Church. She loved needlework and crafts. Jeanne also enjoyed traveling to national parks and river tours in Europe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne's name to St. Vincent de Paul c/o St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 St. John Place, Attleboro, MA 02703.
