Nancy C. Sylvestre, 74, a longtime resident of Wrentham, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2021 in St. Luke Hospital, New Bedford.
Born in Providence, RI on December 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and B. Mildred (Ernst) Crowther. Nancy was a graduate of King Philip High School and was educated at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Maine at Orono, and received her Master's Degree from the Bangor Theological Seminary. Nancy worked as a personnel manager at Ann & Hope and later at DeWitt Animal Hospital. She was a lifelong, very active member of the Original Congregational Church in Wrentham. An avid reader, she also loved to paint and bird watch. Her sharp wit and easy smile will be sorely missed.
Nancy is survived by her children; Paul A. Sylvestre of Wrentham and Jill M. Connolly (Brian) of Blackstone, and her grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Connolly. She was the sister of the late Ralph and Bruce Crowther.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 12th at 2 PM in the Original Congregational Church, 1 East Street, Wrentham. Burial will be private.
