Rose Shepard Obituary

Rose Marie Shepard, 102, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of Louis Shepard, who passed away on September 27, 2002.

Born in North Attleboro, MA on March 2, 1921, she was a loving daughter of the late Raymond Petti and Mary (DeStefano) Petti. Rose was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro. Her predominant role in life was as a wife and mother lovingly making a home for her family. She was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in North Attleboro.

She was the devoted mother of: Jane Shepard of North Attleboro; Barbara Patterson and her husband John of Danville, CA; and Linda Kane of The Villages, FL. She was the cherished grandmother of: Michael Patterson of California; Holly Skawinski of Taunton, MA; David Patterson of California; Robin Hankinson of Florida; Todd Skawinski of Maine; and Amy Rosenthal of Washington. She also leaves five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the dear sister of the late Nicholas Petti, Anthony Petti, Mary Carreau, Jeanette Antunes, and Vincent Petti.

At the request of the family, all services will be private.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, North Attleboro.
