William M. Woodason

William M. Woodason, age 85, of Jackson, NH, formerly of Foxborough, MA, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. He was the son of the late Morton P. and Polly Y. (Feener) Woodason.

Bill was born on February 6, 1939 in Beverly, MA and was a graduate of Sharon High School and Worcester Academy. He earned his Bachelors degree at Beloit College in WI and also worked as a Deputy Sherrif and Parole Officer while attending college. He was employed as a Distribution Manager for North and South America for the former Foxboro Company. Bill was a former member of the Foxboro Lions Club and Taylor School Building Committee. He was a board member of the Foxborough Federal Savings and Loan Bank and a founding board member of the Hockomock YMCA. He was also a proud friend of Bill W. Bill most enjoyed spending time fishing the waters of Buzzard Bay and hunting, skiing and hiking in the Mount Washington NH area, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Loving husband of Eleanor (Bristol) Woodason for 65 years. Devoted father of Susan B. Carr of Mendon, Brit Woodason of Norton and his partner Nancy Keenan and John Woodason and his wife Kathleen of Fuquay Varina, NC. Beloved grandfather of Brittney, Paige, Victoria, Nate, Rex and Allie. Great grandfather of Hailey, Tyler, Ari, Adeline and Theo. Brother of James C. Woodason of Berkley and his late wife Maryann. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
