SANTEE -- Graveside services for Mr. Abraham Shuler of Santee will be held noon Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Rock Hill AME Church, Vance, with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy L. Ravenel Sr. officiating. COVID-19 precautions, including masks, will be required for persons attending the service.
Drive-thru viewing is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree.

Friends may call the funeral home.

I just got the news about Abe's passing! I worked with him at MUSC in the early 90's and again not too long ago. He was one of them "old school techs" that wore a short white lab coat over dress clothes. He was part of the Med U crew back in the day...Norman Scott, Aretha, Kathy, Macon, Lisa, Lori, Ray Manigault, Crazy John Quintana, Mark, Ralph, John Davis, Cheryl Green...sorry if I forgot anyone! I considered Abe a friend. He was a good person and I am blessed to have known him!!!!

To my family, I'm so very sorry for the loss of my dear cousin Ham, and your brother, father, grandfather. May you all find comfort in the fond memories that you have while he was present with us. I will continue to pray for comfort and peace in the coming days, weeks, months, and years, as the Lord wills. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the service. Our condolences go out to the Abraham Shuler family during this sad time in their lives. Mike and Sheila fondly remember Ham driving them from the church to the reception dinner after their wedding ceremony. All of us - Clay, Jr., Pat, Donnell, and Mike recall the great relationship our Dad shared with Ham, Pat, and Catherine's Dad. Please know that our hearts grow heavy with grief for your loss, and know that Ham is now in the safe arms of our Lord.
