Clarice R. Jackson of Cordova passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was 57. Clarice was born at Colleton County Hospital of Walterboro, SC to Nancy McGrady on August 21, 1967.

Cherished fondly by her family, she is survived by her loving husband Andy Jackson, her daughters Jessica Murdaugh, her partner Ethan Altman and Katie Parrish with her husband Seth, grandchildren Maverick and Emberlei Parrish. She is also survived by her beloved sisters Becky Smith and her husband Wayne of Saint Matthews and Michelle Varnadoe and her husband Vot of Walterboro as well her nieces and nephews.

Clarice was a kind hearted soul who was loved by all who knew her. She spent most of her days keeping home as a mother and wife. Anyone who passed the threshold of her home was met with affection that only deepened with time, making a friendly abode and a mother figure in their lives. Clarice had passion for cinema, collecting many movies to share and was always ready to view with her loved ones. When the year entered the winter, Clarice would brighten the holidays with the spirit of the season and the warmth of her heart. Excitement to visit her home only heightened to fever pitch as she crafted coveted Christmas cookies for anyone who visited.

Clarice was a devoted member of the Church of Grace Baptist Church.

Honoring her wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
