Mr. James Knotts was a true patriot and stellar leader in words and deeds in the Richard Street Community. His was a life well led and lived. He taught us all to give of ourselves and to love and cherish every moment. During my last visit with him in August 2019, he said his wish was to live to 100, because “99 and one-half won’t do!” Thanks for your sacrifices and service and for the lessons you taught so many of us. Montfort Point Marines were hard as nails and Mr. Knotts surely lived up to that description. Rest well and peaceful Sir. Your life here on Earth was just and dutifully lived.
