January 23, 1932 - October 15, 2025
Robert Lee "Bobby" Fogle, 93, of Neeses, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, 594 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, SC, 29107, with Rev. Benjamin Smoak officiating. Burial took place in the church cemetery.
Mr. Fogle was born in Neeses, a son of the late John Anthony and Lila Flake Fogle.
Mr. Bobby enjoyed motorcycles, waterskiing and being with friends and family.
In 1952 Mr. Bobby borrowed $200 to buy a gas station in Neeses. Today the family business has 6 Piggly Wiggly Supermarkets and over 400 associates. Mr. Bobby always believed his associates were the reason for his success.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Frances Goodwin Fogle; children, Chuck (April) Fogle, Barbara (Mike) Garrigan and Allan (Linda) Fogle; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Andrew) Durant, Robert (Kara) Fogle, Sydney Fogle, Sara Fogle, Wesley (Deanna) Fogle, Matthew Fogle, Josh (Kristen) Jett, and Anthony (Heather) Jett; and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Tony Fogle, Carol "T" Fogle, Carlisle Fogle, Bryan Fogle, Norman Fogle and Henry Fogle; and a sister, Virginia Port.
Pallbearers are Robert Fogle, Wesley Fogle, Matthew Fogle, Johnny Fogle, Jerry Roland, Richard Craven.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 88, Neeses, SC 29107.
Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
