CHAD NICOLET
ALTON — Chad William Nicolet, 30, passed away unexpectedly at 3:37 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, in Elsah Township.
He was born on April 24, 1984, in Alton, the son of William "Boom Boom" Nicolet and Paula (Dugge) Forester.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Sandy J. (Miles) Nicolet, and their two sons, Miles Edward and Hayden William Nicolet. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Paula, and her husband, Jeffrey Forester of Alton; his father-in-law, Randy Miles, and his wife, Karen Miles, of Bethalto; his mother-in-law, Patty Gardner of Florissant, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Tyler Miles of Alton; a sister-in-law, Cathy Nicolet of Alton; and his niece and nephew, Abby Nicolet and Kyle Pohlman.
Chad graduated from Civic Memorial High School in 2003. He worked for Labor Local 338. He loved traveling and sports, especially Mizzou football and Cardinals baseball. He loved hanging out with friends and family and spending quality time with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his father, William "Boom Boom" Nicolet, and his brother, Edward Nicolet.
Visitation will from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014, and funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2. Both visitation and funeral services will be at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, 1313 West Delmar, Godfrey, Illinois 62035.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Nicolet family for Miles and Hayden Nicolet.
