Thinking about David today. I got to work with him during my time at the Missouri History Museum. Now whenever I see a riverboat or the Mississippi River David crosses my mind. He was a very kind soul with a great passion for his work and environment. I learned more about the river from David in a couple months working on that exhibit than I ever did in school :). My thoughts and prayers are with David and his family

I knew David for 20 years, when Washington University donated to our research group thousands of baby teeth left over from a 1960s study on atom bomb test fallout. We are now using the teeth to understand how fallout increased cancer risk in people now in their 60s and 70s (ironically). David was one of the most decent, committed people I ever knew; we are all lucky to have had him with us.

David was by far one of my most favorite people. After only knowing him for 8 months he will absolutely stay in my heart and inspire me to do my best and to be my best. He is one of the kindest souls I have ever encountered and I can imagine how many people he blessed by just being around them. The world lost a huge light when he left it. His wife and daughter are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for David's loss. He was his parent's pride and joy. David was so goid to his mother after his dad had died and we talked often. His wife and daughter was his life and I feel sure David was his family's hero. May the Lord bless him and keep him with the warmth of all our prayers for himmand his family.
