Eddyville, KY - John M. Hodapp, 64 of Eddyville, KY, (formerly of Marine, IL) died Friday, February 11, 2022, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. He was born on Sunday, September 29, 1957, in Highland, IL, the son of John and Elizabeth (nee Mayer) Hodapp.
Long time employee of Sentry Insurance Company, Edwardsville, IL. Survived by his wife Cathy L. Hodapp, son Ryan M. (Gena) Hodapp, Troy, IL and daughter Ashley A. (Daniel) Bugg, Fredonia, KY; grandchildren Beau and Luke Hodapp, Tucker, Grant and Arlie Bugg, Fredonia, KY; siblings Jim E. (Sue) Hodapp, Mary E. (Frank) Bufe, Karen A. (Michael) O'Brien, Debra S. (Scott) Wick, Mark W. (Marlene) Hodapp, Sue M. (Peter) Deakos, Steven M. (Cindy) Hodapp, father in-law & mother in-law Denzil R. & Elizabeth L. (nee Bastian) Cummins, sisters in-law Carol L. Reckline, and Cindy L. Brechner, brother in-law Steven R. (Kyla) Cummins. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Friday, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine, IL. Interment will be at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Marine, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
