MARK HARMON
ALTON — Mark Charles Harmon, 56, died at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at his home.
Born Dec. 12, 1961, in Alton, he was the son of Patricia (Klunk) Harmon of Alton and the late Harvey Harmon.
Mark worked in the I.T. department for MasterCard.
On July 10, 2009, he married the former Lorraine "Lori" Hentrich in Alton. She survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Megan Flatt of Manchester, Missouri, a brother, Matt Harmon (Gretchen) of Godfrey, two nieces, Abby Inlow (Dan) of Alton, and Rachel Fergurson (Elliott) of Alton, his mother and father-in-law, Fred and Mary Ann Hentrich of Alton, two brothers-in-law, Mike Hentrich (Lisa) of Dow, and John Hentrich of Alton, and a sister-in-law, Susie Trefny of Alton.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dawn Hentrich.
No visitation is scheduled. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton. Father Jason Stone will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the Riverbender Community Center or Marquette Catholic High School.

Very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. We worked many years together at Mastercard. Wish we could have enjoyed one more MC fishing trip and shared one more beer together. :(

Mark was a super nice person and a great competitor.
I remember playing football and soccer with Mark on the playground at St. Peter and Paul. He always played hard!
