MARY MARMINO
CHESTERFIELD, MISSOURI — Mary June Marmino, 90, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Mason Pointe Care Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Born Oct. 14, 1927, in Eldred, Illinois, she was the daughter of Edmond and Emma (Rankins) Lankford. Mrs. Marmino was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, crafts and sewing.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Tieman of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Joyce Passiglia of Chesterfield, Missouri, five grandchildren, Lisa Wooley (Steve) of Brighton, Melinda Meyer (Greg) of Columbia, Illinois, Dawn Painter (Robert) of St. Charles, Missouri, Peter Passiglia (Tina) of Wentzville, Missouri, and Chris Passiglia of Ballwin, Missouri, seven great-grandchildren, Danielle Queern (Jimmy), Tyler Wooley, Nick Meyer, Ashley Meyer, Lauren Painter, Chase Painter, and Samantha Painter, and one great-great-grandchild, Kylie Queern.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Hugh Tieman and Peter Passiglia, two brothers, Frank and John Lankford and two sisters, Grace Singer and Irene Summers.
Visitation will be from 10 until time of funeral service at 10:45 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery. Father Steven Janoski will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
