Shipman - Pansy R. Clark, 94, passed away at 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Alton Memorial Rehab.
She was born on July 31, 1931, in Puxico, Missouri, to Oscar D. and Stella M. (Wilfong) McClard.
Pansy married Russell C. Clark on November 27, 1954, in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from Puxico High School in the Class of 1950. Pansy was a member of Woodburn Bible Church, Bunker Hill Senior Club, the Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle Club, and the Birthday Club. She enjoyed playing dominoes, embroidering, knitting, quilting, shopping, and especially spending time with her family and friends. Phone calls with loved ones brought her great joy.
She is survived by her daughter, Vonda (Tom) Walter of Godfrey, Ill.; her son-in-law, William G. Roach of Brighton, Ill.; grandchildren, William R. (Liz) Roach, Whitney (Chris) Steinkuehler, Sean (Miranda) Walter, Amy Walter, and Michael Walter; and great-grandchildren, Kylie and Parker Steinkuehler, and Julian Walter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Roach; sister, Norma Clark, and her brother, Denzil McClard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, Ill. Rev. Roger Bruce will officiate.
Burial will follow at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
