I met randy at sterling heights assembly plant around 2006 or so. What a great boss, super intelligent, and a kind, great friend. I only have great
words and fun memories he always had funny things to say. The funniest thing was I was able to catch on as he taught me how to buy and sell stocks many years ago and still doing it today and always think of him on a trade. He left Michigan to find work and we always stayed in touch. Sadly I couldn't reach him and no reply for a while. I text him a beautiful yacht and it would not go thru I tried a few times I dialed him again recently and his number was not in service. I knew something was wrong. I am so saddened as I found he has passed. He is missed and great memories of him I sure have many. My condolences. Cynthia Dudal

Randy Fairfax. I knew him as Fax, as he prefered. Fax was my friend, mentor, and partner at work for 8 years, and a great guy. Fax took me under his wing when I'd been there a mere 6 months, and taught me almost everything I know, and he knew, about running, maintaining, and troubleshooting an auto manufacturing assembly line. And he did it with laid back poise and made me feel real relaxed and excepted. And with his humor, he made it fun. Eventually we developed a sense of each other and worked really well as an integrated team. We each knew the job and when one would do one part the other would step in the other part. We used to joke, "between the two of us we make a great electrician" lol! We got along real well, and enjoyed a lot of down time watching movies and videos, often about sailing. We used to follow different youtubers who sailed around the world, and dream of doing it. We had a funny routine of watching three videos at the start of the shift for 'good luck.' The first one was 'Over the rainbow" by IZ. Fax spoke very fondly of his time on Kat Key Island back in the day. We also talked a lot about our families, the world, investments, hobbies, and spiritual things. Fax knew the Lord, and I'm picturing him enjoying the joy of the Lord today. I really am glad I knew him and enjoyed our years as friends and coworkers. Until we meet again, rest in peace my friend.
