Sharilyn was one of my favorite Wagon Train moms. How many years did she go on the Fort Seward Wagon Train? I can´t remember many trips without my favorite trail cook, Sharilyn at the chuckwagon always preparing to feed 200 people rain & cold in her flour sack jacket or scorching heat in prairie dress and bonnet. Then way into the evening there she was stirring together homemade rhubarb-strawberry jam over an open fire laughing at the evening skits. That woman had amazing positive energy.
Sharilyn sure did put up the good fight against cancer for a long time, strong, strong lady that I so admired and yes, I agree was taken too soon. Which leads me to her girls Cindy, Jane, Roxanne, and Donna my heart goes out to you. We only get one mommy in this world and a great mommy was she! Thank you for sharing your mom with me if even for 1 week each year.
May your memories find you peace through this difficult time.
Love to ALL,
~Becky

I remember Marilyn and Sherilyn from High School. Marilyn was always fun and kind to everyone she met. I know you will all miss her terribly.
