Albert DiPaolo Obituary

Albert DiPaolo, 76 years, South Abington Twp., died Saturday, March 25, at home. He was the husband of the late Linda (Kreher) DiPaolo, to whom he was married for 40 years.

Al was born Sept. 15, 1946, in Providence, R.I., the only son of the late Bernardino and Vincenza (Cucca) DiPaolo. He graduated from Laselle High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Rhode Island. He worked as a field supervisor for Baker Hughes Company, an oil field service company until he retired. Albert was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows Parish.

Al is survived by his children, his son, Nicholas DiPaolo and his wife Reanna of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Abby Harkrider, and her husband Jason of Cranberry Twp.; his grandsons, Benjamin Alan Harkrider and Jack Richard Harkrider of Cranberry Twp. and his beloved dog, Jake.

A devoted and loving father and grandfather, Al was huge presence in their lives and will be sorely missed. He enjoyed walks with his dog, spending time with his grandsons, and his motorcycle. He was a skilled carpenter and loved making beautiful furniture and woodworking.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to One Life to Live Rescue at onelifetoliverescue.com.
