Alice Creavey, 88, died Wednesday, May 26, at the Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor, after an illness.
She was born in Dickson City on Aug. 8, 1932, to the late John and Catherine McKenna Creavey and was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church in Dickson City. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and employed as a secretary for many years before her retirement.
Alice was a kind and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is remembered by her surviving family, which includes her brother, Walter, and his family; and many other family members which include several nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, William, Robert, Thomas and Ted.
A memorial service with interment of cremated remains will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, Dickson City, by Monsignor Patrick J. Pratico, pastor.
