I was so shocked and saddened to read of Alice's passing. We know that you loved the potatoe pancakes from the picnic at Devine mercy since the picnic is around the corner we were going to bring you some up like we did last year since you enjoyed them so much. I will always remember your smile and your "god bless you" when ever I rolled by. You are and we're a amzaming person and I will miss you. I can close my eyes and hear you calling to me, Rest In Peace for you surely were one of gods treasures

What a beautiful photo of a Alice. She would laugh when I called her the "mayor" of the facility. I am so glad she was our last queen. She was so happy. I will never forget her asking how my baby is and saying god bless you to me every time I went home at night. Sweet sweet woman. You will not be forgotten.

I will never forget the fabulous dinner I had with Alice and John at their beautiful trailer in Old Forge. The dinner of KFC was finger lickin' good. It was 40 years ago when I resided in Scranton.

Alice Daniels was a special cousin and a devote born again Christian and Republican. She was 100% pro-life.She and her beloved husband John use to treat me to the wrestling matches during the 1970s at CYC IN Scranton. She was dealt a hard blow in Earthly life when God called her precious husband home in 1985. She is now united with John in Heaven.

I don't know what to say. Alice touched my heart from the day we met. She faced many obstacles to return to her home which she loved. I was the administrator at the center and helped her get home. She had that strong determination only Alice could posess. I made a deal with her. The deal went like this. If Alice was to go home and could not make it on her own, she was to call me. In return I promised to keep her private room open incase she needed to return to the center. Alice tried and couldn't make it at home. She called me as promised and Alice was able to return to her room we had waiting for her at the center. Alice has touched my life in a way no one would ever know. I was proud to be her healthcare provider but more importantly prouder to be her freind.

We are going to miss talking to Alice every Saturday when we would see her. She was always smiling and happy to see us when we walked in the room. We are so glad we got to know Alice and we are going to miss her. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

I knew Alice from working with her at the Globe and then later would see her in Boscov's. She would always remember me and would talk like we saw each other every day. I will miss her. Another part of The Globe's history and family gone.
