Bonita Sulz Obituary

Bonita Sulz of Scranton died Tuesday in Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. Her lifelong companion is Dominic Figliomeni.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred Herbert Sulz, she was a member of Salvation Army Church and its ladies auxiliary. Bonita loved children, and had a big heart towards everyone. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Bonita was an eye donor, so her eyes can go on seeing the ones who loved her, and everyone can see her beautiful blue eyes.

The family would like to thank the Mid-Valley Hospital and all its staff for the care and compassion which was shown to Bonita and her family.

Also surviving are a son, Ronald Figliomeni; six sisters, Mary Jane Bishop, Factoryville; Evelyn Wittaker, Old Forge; Nancy Magnotta, Scranton; Pam Simonetti, Scranton; Kathy Guimento, Dunmore; and Gina Sulz, Scranton; she will be deeply missed by her godson, Leo Simonetti; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a twin brother, Benjamin Sulz; and a sister, Pat Caufman.

A memorial service will be held later in the Salvation Army Church, South Washington Avenue, Scranton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mid-Valley Hospital, 1400 Main St., Peckville, PA 18452.

Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.
