Christopher Comine, 47, of Scranton, died Friday at Geisinger CMC Hospital.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Albert and Gloria "Cookie" Cichon Comine, he was a graduate of West Scranton High School. Chris was a loving father and brother who will be deeply missed. He struggled with the loss of his mom at an early age and they are now reunited once again.
Surviving are a son, Mark Hubshman; mother of his son, April Hubshman; siblings, Kimi Santos, Scranton; Kevin Comine and wife, Sarah, Franklin, Tenn.; and Karin Snyder and husband, Nathan, Old Forge; former brother-in-law, Michael Santos; nephew, Nicholas Santos; nieces, Madison and Mackenzie Snyder; and uncle, Anthony Cichon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nellie and Anthony Cichon Sr.; and Albert and Clare Comine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica. Interment, SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Taylor. Arrangements by Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.

Heartbreaking to hear the news on Saturday. I worked with Chris at UPS back in the 90s. We started together. He was a hard worker and a great friend. He was a great guy. I been in Las Vegas for 20 yrs. But we reconnected on Facebook. He was an awesome Father! And I know he has gone home to be with his Mom. Fly high my dear friend. You will be sorely missed sir.
