Christopher Walton Obituary

Christopher Walton, 44, of Scranton, died Sunday morning from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His wife is the former Georganna Volinsky.

Born Sept. 26, 1971, in Scranton, son of the late Robert Walton and the late Janet Conlon, Chris was educated in the Scranton schools and attended Scranton Technical High School. He was employed as an automobile technician. He was a member of the Scranton Pool League and coached the West Side Falcons football team and the Tripp Park Miss-E League for many years.

He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Also surviving are his son, Dylan C. Walton; and daughter, Emily E. Walton; his sister, Laura Marx and husband, Matthew, Scranton; his stepson, David LaVerne, Scranton; niece, Madalyn Marx; his aunt, Judy Arthur and husband, Chet, Jacksonville, Fla.; and his best friend, James "Ski" Kelminsky.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Scranton. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.

I know Chris a long time or if you grew up in Bangor Heights like I did Wub was his name. Very nice guy to be around, quiet,never had a ton to say but would help you out any time he could.
