Curtis M. Fisher, 51, of Scranton, died Wednesday at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Gloria Manville Fisher of Scranton, and the late Carl Fisher. Curtis enjoyed riding his Harley, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and wrestling. He loved playing with his dog Buddy and hanging out with friends.
Curtis was a kind and loving person who was always there for his family. He was the type of person who would spend the entire day just trying to make his mother happy. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Cathy and husband, James Gerrity, Cindy, and Cheryl, and husband, Jerry McPhillips; his brother, Carl Fisher; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Curtis was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph; and sisters, Rose Ann and Charlene.
A blessing service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Scranton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
