We are sad to announce that Damian Flasser, 63, of Bristol Twp., Pa., formerly of Scranton, passed away at home on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Born in Scranton on Aug. 13, 1960, he was the son of Kimiko Kawasaki Flasser and the late William J. Flasser. He was an alumnus of Scranton Prep and the University of Pennsylvania.
Damian was very caring of his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to his mother, Kim, Damian is survived by a brother, Joseph and his wife, Christine, Southport, N.C.; a nephew, Gregory Flasser, Esq. (Candice), Avondale, Pa.; nieces, Kelsey McElven, OT (Michael), Shamong, N.J.; and Dana Crawford, NP (Kyle), Runnemede, N.J.; as well as four grandnieces.
The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at noon in St. Clare's Church, 2235 N. Washington Ave., Scranton. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. until the commencement of services. Interment will follow immediately at St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Frank M. Regan Funeral Home, 323 William St., Scranton.
