David A. Wiatrowski of Nanticoke died Wednesday at Allied Hospice surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death Sandy Wiatrowski.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Theodore and Doris Wiatrowski. Prior to retirement, he was a baker for the Giant Grocery Stores and later, before retirement, he worked as a maintenance worker for Mercy Health Care Center.
Surviving are a son, David A. and wife, Carolyn Wiatrowski; a daughter, Amy L. Wiatrowski; two grandsons, John David Bannon and girlfriend, Katerina LaChase; and Jacob David Wiatrowski; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella M. Bannon.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy; and two sisters, Debbie and Theresa.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Dunmore Cemetery.
