Donald Dippre Obituary

Donald Paul Dippre, 86, of South Scranton, died Saturday at home.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Sophie Schick Dippre. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, class of 1955, prior to retirement, he was employed by Morris White, Vermont Sportswear and King Koil.

Donald's family would like to extend a special thank you to Allied Services Home Hospice and also to Dr. Mario J. Sebastianelli for all of their kind and compassionate care.

Surviving are daughter, Dawn Dippre and companion, Shawn, Scranton; brothers, Jack Dippre and wife, Lil, Spring Brook Twp.; and Ken Dippre and wife, Carol, Elmhurst; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends and family may pay their respects Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
