Ernest Shambley Obituary
An Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he served in the European theater and was awarded the EAMT Campaign Medal with five bronze service stars and the Purple Heart. Before retiring, he was employed as a heavy-duty equipment operator.
Surviving are his caregivers, Patrick and Angie Greco, Blakely.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Hedley W. Mason Funeral Home, 436 Main St., Peckville, with services by Joseph Poklemba, chaplain of AseraCare Hospice. Interment, Prospect Hill Cemetery, Peckville.
Friends may call Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
