Eva Warholak Husanita

Eva Warholak Husanita, 95, of West Scranton, formerly of Bridgeport, Conn., died Monday at Allied Services Skilled Nursing. Her husband, Stephen Husanita, died in 1983.

Born in Wyola-Smithmill, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Suchick Warholak, she was a 1937 graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Scranton, and had worked for Devar-Kinetics Control Products, Bridgeport.

She is survived by a daughter, Theodora Woltch, Florida; a brother, Theodore Warholak, Maine; three sisters, Anastasia Wallick, Theodora Kmoitek and Margaret Quibick, all of Bridgeport; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Brown, Anna Krasawski, Catherine Marcinko, Susan Krupinski and Julie Kozy; and five brothers, Charles, Paul, Joseph, John and Michael Warholak.

Graveside services were held on Friday at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, by the Right Rev. Nestor S. Kowal. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home, 254-268 Railroad Ave., Scranton.
