Georgieann Rosencrance Obituary

Beloved mother, Georgieann Rosencrance, 74, of West Scranton, passed on Friday, June 21, at Oak Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, Taylor.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Jane Vian. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by three sons, Brad, Eric and Justin; and one sister, Debra Dodgson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Shannon Petty; and a sister, Jane Olshefski.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the direction and care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.

So sorry to read about Georgieann's passing. She helped me so much when she was my neighbor on Jackson St. I was a new mother & she knew all the tricks for cranky babies & childcare. Her mother Aunt Jane was a hoot also. Heartbreaking that her beautiful daughter Shannon had passed also. Keep the memories alive Justin, Brad, & Eric. xo
