Frances L. Wheeler Wilson, 82, of Scranton and formerly of Taylor, entered into eternal rest early Monday morning with her family by her side at Dunmore Health Care. Her first husband, Willard Wheeler Jr., passed away on Oct. 27, 2003, and her second husband, Alexander "Butch" Wilson Jr., passed away June 13, 2014.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Kellett Licciardi. Fran, retired from Bank of America and for many years, she was the owner and operator of the former Riverside Café, Taylor. She was a faithful member of the Taylor American Legion Post 306 Auxiliary and was a woman who relished the simple pleasures of life and enjoyed tending to her feline friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Marie Wynne and husband, Joe; and Dorothea and Tom Kujawski; a son, Willard and wife, Mary Lynn; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a niece; and a special friend, Gary Locker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, June 11, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Semian Funeral Home LLC, 704 Union St., Taylor. A blessing service will begin at 6:30 p.m. by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli.
