James Correll Obituary
Born Dec. 21, 1941, in Carbondale, son of the late Edgar and Marjorie Lloyd Correll, Jim was a 1959 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, and served in the Navy for four years. He worked as an operating room technician for close to 40 years. He was employed at many hospitals in New York and on the West Coast. He was also a member of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church.
Jim was an avid collector of all types of clocks. He also enjoyed fixing them.
He is survived by a sister, Nancy Snyder, Lenoxville; a brother, David Correll and wife, Margaret, Lenoxville; a sister-in-law, Darlene Correll, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Walter and Eugene Correll; a brother-in-law, John "Fuzzy" Snyder; and a sister-in-law, Jean Correll.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, celebrated by Pastor Eric Watkins, pastor of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church, officiating. Jim's cremains will be interred at a later date with his parents in Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.

I miss my Uncle Jim so much. He always made me smile or laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humor, even throughout his long illness, he still had a way to put a smile on my face. He, my Uncle Dave and Aunt Nancy always had a way of making my family and I feel welcomed and loved in their homes. I miss them all so much!

Nancy,Dave and families words can not express how I feel you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of Jimmy he was a great person and I know you will miss him know that he is now at peace and out of pain prayers will be said for you all
