About
James Granahan Obituary
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Granahan. Jim was a graduate of South Catholic High and King's College, as well as a veteran of the Pennsylvania National Guard. He had a passion for cars and loved his time building racing cars with his son, Sean. For the last several years he was enjoying his retirement and ballroom dancing with his wife, Maria.
Also surviving are his son, Sean Granahan, Lake Winola; daughter, Erin Granahan, Bellingham, Washington, from his first marriage to Diane Lambert, Lake Winola; three brothers, Dennis, Clifton Beach; Mike, Scranton; Patrick, Old Forge; and many nieces and nephews.
It was Jim's wish to be cremated and to forgo any funeral services. Condolences can be left at Jim's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011501070061.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's entire family. I went to school with him at St. Mary's and South Catholic. He was a very quiet and intelligent guy. My prayers for the faily.
