James K. Joseph of Newfoundland died Friday at home after a prolonged illness.
Born in Stratford, New Jersey, son of Dolores Clickstine and husband, William, Newfoundland, he was self-employed in construction before his illness.
Jim was a member of the Newfoundland horseshoe league, and an avid fan of all sports, especially soccer, where he excelled as both a player and coach for many years.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Aisling George; his life partner, Laura Redding; brothers, William and Austin Clickstine; sister, Lauren Ackerson; stepchildren, Jenna and Mitchel Reddig; and stepgrandchildren, Jameson, Jayden and Keeva.
The funeral will be Thursday at noon in the Frey-Fetsock Funeral Home Inc., 201 Route 191, Village of LaAnna, South Sterling. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service.
