Johannes Vos

Johannes M. Vos NMD, 81, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at UC Medical in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Tabitha Vos of Crittenden.
He was known to his friends and family as John and was born on Aug. 16, 1935 in the Netherlands. He devoted his life to helping people and always believed that there were no problems - only solutions.
After leaving school, he studied naval engineering, which took him around the world. After a breadth of different working experiences, he became a supervisor in the building trade.
After being injured in a car accident, he was declared disabled.
He didn't accept this diagnoses and met with an iridologist. This iridologist got to the root of his problem. The perceptive analysis gave John a great deal of confidence in this method of diagnoses and resulted in him taking the first of many courses in Iridology.
Alongside extensive Iridology training, he also took a comprehensive selection of courses in natural health including homeopathy, electro acupuncture, shiatsu, kinesiology and a study in herbal medicine.
For several years, he had his own practice set up in Holland.
He soon began travelling giving lectures and trained several other therapists in his method of diagnoses.
In between lectures he completed his book, "Health Revelations".
In 2008, he moved to the U.S.A to marry his soulmate, Tabitha. Together, they worked on their independent business and enjoyed travelling and spending time together with their four dogs and five cats.
He never stopped making plans and helping people any way he could. He lived life the way he wanted until his time was over.
He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved mother-in-law.
He had two sons; three grandchildren; a sister and three brothers, all in Holland.
He is deeply missed by the nieces and nephew he adored. Makayla and Elijah Hefner from Mississippi as well as Karina Gutman from Dry Ridge.
He also left behind some wonderful brother and sister-in-laws, Susan and Matt Hefner from Mississippi and Jeff Davis of Dry Ridge, as well as a stepfather-in-law, Jack Yelton of Dry Ridge.
He will be missed but his memory will never be forgotten.
He was cremated on April 4, 2017.
