Joseph Grushinski, 69, passed away June 4, 2021.
He was the son of the late Anthony and Dolores Buldowski Grushinski. He was a Vietnam War veteran with the 18th S.O.S. Stinger gunship. He had an associate degree in computer science. He retired from Steamtown National Historic site. He loved to work on his muscle cars and go to the local charity car shows. He was a member of the Burn Out Boys car club and enjoyed spending time with car club friends. He also loved trains, fishing and cooked the best family barbecue. He was a loving husband and father.
Surviving are his wife, Carmella; a son, Joseph Jr.; and a daughter, Kimberly. He has six brothers, Tony, Rich, Mike, Phil, Steve and Andy. He also has three sisters, Lois, Jeanie and Christine. He has a brother-in-law Jack Runco, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dave and a sister, Dolores.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 445 Sanderson St., Throop, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 17 at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 215 Rebecca St., Throop, at 9:30 a.m. Please go directly to the church.
