My Darling Karl,
It has been 6 months since I've seen you and that God called you back home. I know that you are with your mother now resting safely in her arms. I love and miss you every single day.

I am shocked and saddened at Karl's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him many years ago. I was searching the internet to see if I could touch base with my old friend and made this terrible discovery. He was one of the nicest people I ever met and although I hadn't seen him for over 20 years I remember his smile and laughter like it was yesterday. RIP my friend

Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what...
Karl, you were like my "other" big brother...always there if I needed you, never judgmental and always forgiving. You told me things I needed to hear even if I did not want to hear them. I have so many memories over half of my life that involve you and I will cherish them along with all of your advice always.
You were a good man and a strong man...no matter what was going on in your life or how you were feeling you were always there to help...and I need your help (again) to give my sister that strength from above...I'll do my job from down here but I need you to continue to do yours from up there...
Miss and love you always...

Cindy, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Karl's passing. I have wonderful memories of both him and you during your trips to the Candy Dept. at Boscov's. I always enjoyed talking to Karl - he was very knowledgeable about so many things. God be with you and Karl's family in the days and months ahead. Linda Kiefer (formerly of Boscov's Candy Dept.)
