Kathleen "Kathie" Pregmon, 58, of Scranton, died Friday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband of 40 years is Jim Pregmon.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late John and Irene Koschak-Krouchick, Kathie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, bingo player and enjoyed listening to Bob Seger every chance she could. Kathie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren with trips to the pumpkin patch. Kathie enjoyed the simple things in life and always put everyone's needs ahead of her own. Kathie loved her pets, especially her cats and dog, Pip, who she is now with once again.
Also surviving are her two children, Corey Pregmon and Kassandra, of Dunmore; and Janelle Pregmon and Ron, of Scranton; grandchildren, Emma and Ava Hughes, of Scranton; Kylie, Corey and Sawyer Pregmon, of Dunmore; her two big sisters, Suzanne and husband, Daniel Swartz, of Dalton; and Jo-anne Krouchick, of Scranton; her two big brothers, Paul Krouchick, of California; and Chris Krouchick and wife, Anna, of Scranton; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, John, Mike, Mary, Brian and Mary Ellen Krouchick.
The family would like to thank all the staff of Dunmore DaVita Dialysis; also Dr. Michael Jaloweic, Dr. Henry Yeager and Dr. Lear Von Koch for the outstanding care they provided Kathie.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton. Friends may call from 4 to 6:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to DaVita Dialysis Dunmore, PA, in memory of Kathie Pregmon.
