Kathryn Maushart died on Tuesday at Geisinger CMC surrounded by her adoring children and sister. She was married to Jerry Maushart, who passed away in 2016, for 45 years.
Kathy was a native of Scranton and the daughter of Charles and Carolyn Pappas. She loved traveling, shopping, and going to the casino, but most of all loved being with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Paula Pappas; son, Bruce; daughter, Carolyn Walsh and son-in-law Larry; two grandchildren, Cassondra and Nikolas; and great-granddaughter, Skylar.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Penn Avenue. Interment: Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Arrangements by McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
